My name is Ben Whewell and I am a computational scientist specializing in neutron transport, nuclear data, and machine learning. My work spans reinforcement learning for multigroup energy grid optimization, hybrid numerical methods, and solution verification for neutron transport solvers. I build open-source tools like discrete1, ants, and DJINN, and publish on error estimation and hybrid transport methods.
